ELISA Kits

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), is a biochemical technique used mainly to detect the presence of an antibody or an antigen in a sample. The ELISA has been used as a diagnostic tool in medicine and plant pathology, as well as a quality-control check in various industries. In simple terms, in an ELISA, an unknown amount of antigen is affixed to a surface, and then a specific antibody is applied over the surface so that it can bind to the antigen. This antibody is linked to an enzyme, and, in the final step, a substance containing the enzyme's substrate is added. The subsequent reaction produces a detectable signal, most commonly a colorimetric change in the substrate which can be measured.

Boster’s ELISA kits ranged over many fields in the life sciences, such as molecular biology, molecular immunology, and cytobiology. They not only apply to quantitative detection of macromoleculer and micromolecular antigens, but also to the quantitative analysis of soluble antigens, such as found in sera, plasma, body fluids, tissue lysates and cell culture supernatents in vitro. Our ELISA kits are of extremely high quality, user friendly, offer quick detection, require only a small quantity of sample, and are an excellent value.
